  1. Madam Centipede Says:

Whoa! I must say that is one of the creepiest things I’ve heard. Not to mention it puts a whole new spin on those days when I used to play that game.
I’ve gotta say I adore all your work, each with it’s own flavor of creepy but this takes the cake in a sending chills down your spine, I refuse to listen to this in the dark sort of way.

  2. Tony Says:

    Oh… my… God…

This is scarier than Never Woke Up, and that’s saying A LOT. Awesome. :D

  3. Katy Says:

Thanks, MC and Tony! :) (and a confession: I’ve never been brave enough to play that game myself)

  4. Autumnbear Says:

I forgot it was Sixcast night!
It’s 2 am, I’m having trouble sleeping, and I just played this.

Welp, I’d better just start my morning right with some coffee I think…
A little long in the narration I think, but well worth it. Thanks Katy!
Bloody Mary… isn’t that the game where you spin in front of a mirror and close your eyes in the dark, in the hopes of seeing her looking back at you? How dementedly evil, bringing up my phobia of mirrors in the dark…

  5. Sine Says:

Right, just listened to that now I have to do three things. One destroy all the mirrors in my house bringing how ever many years of bad luck on myself, I don’t care it has to be done. Two, turn all the lights in the house onto full even if it’s 9:30am. Three, never sleep again.

Katy I have to say this is the best one you have ever done, honestly. Normally your 6casts will put me on edge a bit but thats about it, this one has got me spooked, I don’t wanna go anywhere in the house where there is a mirror. so Katy, bravo.

  6. Tate Says:

I played this game all the time but never in my own house. Mostly just to prove that nothing happened. Nothing ever did. With the exception of the mirror randomly breaking the next day.

You sent chills down my spine. That’s hard to do. I applaud you.

  7. DeeDee Says:

Wow…I’m a bit new to your site Ms. Towell, but I have to say out of all your SixCasts, that was by far the creepiest thing I’ve heard. I’m a hard to scare person, but that truly made my spine tingle. I’ll never sleep again…
    Fantastic job!

  8. Rumble Says:

    This is just…terrifying.
    I’m afraid of this thing.
But I can’t stop listening, or turn it off either.
This’ll haunt my dreams for a while, now…

  9. Christina Says:

It is daylight still, the windows are open. It’s very bright in my room. And I am crying, I’m so terrified. Two of the walls are covered in top to bottom mirrors. And there is another hanging above the computer. If I stand up a mirror. If I turn, a mirror. If I turn the other way, the door, safety. and a mirror. I tried to play that game once. But When i turned off the lights, I saw something. I swear to this day, There was a face in my morror. I had only said the name twice. Why must you be so brilliant?

  10. Dead Rose Says:

Woah… I’m actually familiar with this reference… and this 6cast will work MUCH better with my prank call… hehehe…. I don’t think I’ll shave right again, but meh. Well done, Katy!

  11. Stephen Says:

Katy, you have made me so scared of going to bed now. I should not have listened to that so late at night.

  12. Seolyk Says:

great work once again! the voice was just right. I’m still shivering just thinking about it. I can’t wait til next week. oh yeah, I’ve also watched the Childrin R Skary animations. keep up the good work!

  13. Anna Says:

*shivers… I’m turning the mirror in my room around… and never playing it again.. then again.. i couldn’t even say bloody Mary into the mirror more than 12 time.. let alone 101 times… *shivers with fear* you should do three blind mice.. only.. set in a kindergarten class… *giggles*

  14. Liz Says:

    Oh dear God.
    Well, I guess this’ll cure anyone’s vanity…
Bravo! I’m absolutely terrified to turn toward my mirror.

  15. Christina Says:

Geeze, I tried to listen to it again, and I couldn’t. I couldn’t. It takes a lot for me to not have the will to do something. I got a few seconds in, and I had to turn it off. I haven’t had that reaction to something since I was a little child. If I ever needed to be scared out of my skull, You’d be the one I’d contact. Gah, all my hairs are STILL sticking up.

  16. Mermy Says:

Wow, Terrifing XD. I love it. I should try that game. The again.. maybe not.
    But anyway
    TERIFFICLY TERRIFING AND OUTSTANDING SCARY.
    You’ve done it again katy,
    Bravo bravo.

  17. Mimio Says:

The poor sounding quality of the recording along with the background sounds and rattled, raspy breathing; how do you know to put these elements together so well?

Usually your 6casts don’t scare me until I get in bed, but this one is working immediately! Luckily I have a room with no mirrors in it to sleep in tonight. ;D

  18. Bethany Says:

I’m kind of new to the site, so this was the first 6cast I listened to.

My closet has two full length mirrors, one on each door. When we first moved to this house the creeped me out a lot. Now I am going to have to cover them with sheets for the rest of my stay in this house. I am never listening to this one alone ever again…

Well, maybe once more, just for the hell of it. Wonderful job with the audio! Wish me luck in sleeping tonight.

  19. Lidia Says:

My goodness Katy, you did a great job with this podcast!
One of your best I have to say, scared me out of my wits and it’s still bright morning over here!
    Brilliant work though, well done.

  20. Yubi Shines Says:

A study was undertaken where, I believe, it was proven that if you sit in a dimly lit room and stare at a mirror long enough, (possibly a not entirely clean mirror too, I don’t remember the details) there’s a good chance you’ll start to see shapes and figures. If you’re already expecting a face to appear, then the chances are better.

Just so you know, I already wasn’t going to be able to sleep, but, um, now I don’t think I’ll be able to look at a reflection in a window or my danged monitor, let alone mirror.

    Blast.

  21. Anna Says:

haha… dang… I never actually played this game, but it still scared me haha

  22. carol Says:

  26. Elizabeth Athineu Says:

I literally couldn’t sleep with the lights on after listening to this! My family are direct descendants of Mary the First and Mary Queen of Scots on mom and dad’s side! Kudos to you for such a wondefully terrifying story using only that incredible rendition of her story! Great job!

  31. Shourai Says:

Oh my… I have a mirror in my room. O.O

Thankfully, however, I don’t sleep in the dark… Since I hardly ever sleep.

  32. Katy Says:

Wow, that was brilliant. I had to listen to it a second time to understand what was being said, but even before I could fully hear what was coming out, it scared me. The way that the voice was sounded and how you could hear her heavy breathing and weezing was chilling.

Is there any way I could find a script of this?

  33. Isabella Says:

Watching Supernatural’s Bloody Mary episode was enough that I’m scared to even look at a mirror in case I even THINK her name.
She scares the hell out of me!
And this was brilliantly done it just brought up my fear of her and darn it I have to go to bed and tomorrow is Friday the 13th…
    *considers throwing away my mirror

  34. meg Says:

omg that was so scary! i still have chills. kind of like when i watched part of The Ring. well, maybe not as scary as that. The Ring gave me nightmares for a week afterwards! wow. it’s amazing how you can write something so scary! i love it!

  35. meg Says:

when i first heard the voice, i just jumped (^^)

  36. mj Says:

grrr. . i got the guts to listen to it alone. .ahahah. . but it creeps me. . o my gosh i always think she always there in my back. .

  37. hompieeberry Says:

  38. Erika Says:

    Oh dear God,

My headboard has a mirror on it and there is a mirror build into my vanity.

I have to cover them with sheets now.

  39. william Says:

holy god! my name is william and this freaked me out! just the way it was said.

  40. Tofi Says:

I was able to listen to it alone, didn’t understand the first time, and listened carefully to it to understand again…

    I really regret doing that.

Very scary, you did a great job on this.
